Wild animals are not pets and they don’t act like pets.
Some people find this out the hard way.
A skier at Mammoth Mountain, California, miscalculated how a wild coyote would react to his offer of friendship.
A video posted to the Mammoth subreddit shows the man extending his hand to the wild canine in the ski resort's parking lot.
The guy was trying to “help” the animal because it was very cold and snowing.
The animal cautiously came up to the guy, backed off, and then bit the man in the hand.
Now, the skier will have to get a rabies shot for trying to interact with a wild animal.
The man’s reaction shows he felt betrayed.
