The San Diego Zoo asks visitors not to show gorillas videos on cell phones.
It's apparently become a problem at zoos across North America, including the world-famous San Diego locations.
Here’s the problem; people are getting gorillas addicted to watching videos on phones and iPads through the glass enclosures. Gorillas and humans share up to 99% of their DNA, and just like humans, they can have too much screen time, altering their behavior.
The Zoo says they do not condone and strongly discourage playing the gorillas the videos.
