A Canton boy is facing charges following concerning calls about the Stark Library.

The library was evacuated on Monday and police responded to the scene after reports were received about a person with a weapon.

No such person was found.

Police say two calls were received on Tuesday to a suicide hotline, with one stating that someone had been shot inside the library and another- a short time later- with a bomb threat for the library.

An eleven-year-old suspect has been taken into custody on charges of swatting and inducing panic.
