A video has gone viral after a teenager risked life and limb by climbing hundreds of feet up a Florida cell phone tower all for social media clout.
Trent Degulis, 19, was caught scaling the tower in Riverview Saturday night after telling cops upon being arrested, “I wanted to see the sunset.”
Degulis scaled the 1,600-foot tower with police night-vision footage of the climb.
The teen, who says he’s a social media influencer who's gained popularity by sharing videos of himself scaling tall structures, was charged with misdemeanor trespassing.
He was released from the county jail the next day on a $500 bond.
