ODNR Prepping Report For Prosecutor Over Fishing Tournament Cheating

The Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's office is getting involved in alleged cheating during a Cleveland fishing tournament.

The Ohio Department of Natural Resources says it's preparing a report for the prosecutor's office after two men allegedly put weights inside fish they turned in during the Cleveland Championship of the Lake Erie Walleye Trail tournament series last Friday.

The two men won the tournament but were later disqualified when their catch was cut open and the weights were found inside.

Cleveland Metroparks Police are also investigating the alleged fraud.
