Tim Allen is finally speaking out about his opinion of the new “Lightyear” movie. The actor that voiced Buzz Lightyear in all four “Toy Story” movies says the new movie has nothing to do with the character he voiced. “I’ve stayed out of this,” he said in an interview, adding “the brass that did the first four movies is not this.”
He also says that he thought the movie was going to be a live-action film about “real humans, not an animated thing.”
“Lightyear” producer Galyn Susman has defended the casting of Chris Evans as the voice of Buzz in the new movie, saying “Tim really is the embodiment of the toy Buzz, and this isn’t the toy world, so it really doesn’t make sense.”
