Football Player Pays For 500 Mammograms In Honor Of His Beloved Mom

It's Breast Cancer Awareness month and we want to bring awareness to a guy doing some serious good in the fight against the awful disease. The former Steelers running back DeAngelo Williams is a true warrior but it didn't come without a heavy price of losing his mom and aunts to Breast Cancer- all before the age of 50!

Well, for the last few years De'Angelo Williams has been helping other men fight the good fight with early detection. He was able to create the De'Angelo Williams Foundation which covers the cost of mammograms for the uninsured. Since 2015, he's been able to help 500 women who wouldn't otherwise have been so fortunate. His goal for next year is to find a way to get free screenings in every state by next year.
